Echoes

Privacy

Echoes exists to keep your memories, not to collect data. Here is everything it touches, in plain language.

What we read

With your permission, Echoesreads the track you're currently playing on Spotify, and your Spotify profile (id, display name, email) once at sign-in to create your account. We never post to Spotify, modify your library, or read your listening history.

What we store

Only what you deliberately save: each echo's song, place (name and coordinates), time, optional note and photo, plus the weather at that moment. Photos live in private storage and are served only to you via short-lived links. Your echoes are visible to your account alone.

Sharing is yours to start

Nothing is public by default. Share cards are rendered only when you ask, show your location only as broadly as you choose (neighborhood level unless you opt into the exact place), and never contain coordinates.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store your email for one purpose: telling you when a spot opens. No newsletters, no resale.

Deleting

Delete any echo in the app and it's gone, photo included. To delete your whole account, contact Melomaniac Studiosand we'll remove everything.
